When LP’s lawyer, Ikwueto SAN began interrogating Dr. Lawrence Bayode, he asked if the server used for the E-transmission was tested before it was used, and the witness said it was tested. The lawyer asked if it was tested between Feb 3rd and 6th, 2023, but the witness said that’s incorrect, that their testing was done on the 4th of February, 2023.
According to the E-Transmission Portal Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Report, the tests were done on February 3rd and 6th, 2023 with the risk level as medium.
How could INEC’s ICT Deputy Director not know this, or is there something else INEC is hiding by not mentioning the right dates?
The report was conducted by Sulfman, a leading cybersecurity service provider, with a focus on cybersecurity assessments, IT governance, risk & compliance, etc. The report was certified by INEC and given to the LP legal team yesterday.
